» Web-Dev-Bookmarks: an introduction
updated/TuesdayMay24th
'Essential bookmarks for web-designers and web-developers', previously updated on my web-site, have a new design, a new hierarchical structure and, of course, new web-dev-resources.
In a nutshell, I uploaded the page somewhere in the middle of April; "Web-Dev-Bookmarks' was weekly updated, new links were added; consequently, the visitors started to lose track on a huge number of links; the page has become packed with numerous references which have made the navigation and the use of bookmarks more complex. So the reason for changing the basic concept of this project was a huge number of suggestions and links, which have overflooded my mailbox recently.
Over the last few days, a new project was created and updated. The old version (which also will be updated in future) is still available on the page "Bookmarks: Maxi edition". You are welcome to submit your own links to the directory, filling out this form; besides, I'll be glad to receive feedbacks, comments and new ideas coming from your side.
Besides, if you regard the project "Web-Dev-Bookmarks" [www.alvit.de/web-dev] as useful for you or for your visitors, I'd be glad if you had mentioned it on your page.
Before I forgot: As I was redesigning "Web-dev-bookmarks", I was thinking about creating a newsletter which would update its subscribers about the news and new links appearing on this web-site. What do you think about it? Please send a comment or a suggestion on web-dev@alvit.de. Thanks!
How did it begin? Recently I've started to put together a list of useful web design & web-programming tools. The idea was simple: I wanted to list on a one single page the most useful web-sites, which make the life of web designers easier. If you ask the old uncle Google where you can find proper web design-instruments he shows an infinite list, whereby "his" links aren't actually that useful. At the same time really helpful pages aren't shown at all...
This page is actualized once a week. If you regard my list as helpful - please feel free to post similar posts (please - with link to my homepage) in web design- & web-programming-forums, so this list can be used not only by some single online-communities. Besides, I would really appreciate new links coming from your side.
This list was created with the help of many web designers and enthusiasts from Germany and United States, but mostly it was created by myself. Please do not copy the list without giving a link to the source - I invested much time in creating and updating this overview. Therefore please do not neglect my personal work.
Thanks!
